The Port Authority of Marín and Pontevedra Estuary carried out a water surface cleanup this morning in the fishing basin with the mooring and towing company Amare Marín. Approximately one cubic meter of floating material, mainly plastics, which the winds of recent days had blown into the port, was removed. The material removed from the sea is being characterized and separated so that the portion that can be recycled can be managed within the environmental projects in which the port participates. The Port Authority is currently scheduling several days of underwater cleanup in its basins.
