The port hosts a course for port facility security officers
The Port Authority is holding a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) course this week, with the aim of training participants to perform this function in compliance with the International ISPS Code and European Regulation 725/2004.
The training, approved by State Ports, includes security and risk prevention personnel from the Port Authority, the Civil Guard's security service, the National Police, and personnel from private terminal companies.
This course, taught by instructors from the Comismar Group, covers applicable legislation on port security, security plans, contingency plans, inspections, audits, document control, security equipment, access control, cargo control, etc.
