The Port of Marín has already surpassed its 2025 tonnage figures for January-July.
According to provisional statistics, the Port of Marín closed the month of July with a cumulative growth rate of 0.48% compared to the same period last year (January-July), reaching a total of over 1.3 million tons.
General cargo, both in conventional and containerized formats, is the category that has experienced the most growth during this period. Specifically, in non-containerized cargo, there have been significant increases in products such as construction materials, frozen fish, and iron and steel products. Meanwhile, in the dry bulk category, cereals and flours have grown, exceeding imports from the same period last year by 14.8%.
Regarding the number of ships, between January and July of this year, 23% more merchant vessels have arrived at the port than in the same period last year.
