The Port of Marín presents its 2027 Business Plan in Madrid
The President of the Port Authority, José Benito Suárez Costa, accompanied by the entity's management team, met this morning in Madrid with Gustavo Santana, President of State Ports, and representatives from various departments, to present the 2027 Business Plan. This document had already been initially approved by the Port's Board of Directors and has now been submitted to State Ports. The 2027 Business Plan for the Port of Marín aligns its structure with the Strategic Framework of the port system of general interest, which serves as a reference document for port planning in its economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Regarding traffic, the Business Plan projects continued and sustained growth for the period 2027-2030. The budget outlines a scenario of maximum prudence and realism in its revenue and expenditure estimates, taking into account the current economic climate. The objective is to maintain investment efforts to adapt to demand needs in a financially sustainable manner. In the area of ​​investment, the continuation of projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF4) and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFFA) stands out. The Port Authority has been allocated funds to carry out projects related to railway automation, sustainability and energy efficiency improvements, intermodality, and fishing facilities, among others.
