The Port of Marín maintains cargo movement above 2 million tons, reaching a total of 2,297,336 tons in 2025, according to provisional data from the Port Authority. Specifically, the distribution of solid bulk cargo totaled 1,094,374 tons, while general cargo, both containerized and non-containerized, reached 1,175,291 tons, maintaining a balance between the two types of cargo. In this respect, compared to the previous year, conventional general cargo has increased, rising by nearly 6% and positioning itself as one of the drivers of the port's growth. In detail, containerized cargo shows notable growth in canned goods, fruit, animal feed, and other food products. Furthermore, regarding non-containerized general cargo, increases have also been seen in construction materials, frozen fish, and iron and steel products. Regarding the number of ships docked at the port's wharves, there has also been an increase of more than 7% compared to 2024. The Port of Marín thus maintains its objective, as it has been doing in recent years, with cargo traffic figures exceeding 2 million tons and continuing its positive trend.
