The Port of Marin is situated on the central Atlantic seaboard in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. It has a total surface area of nearly 800,000 square metres.
It lies within the waters of the Bay of Pontevedra, protected by the Isle of Ons. This provides exceptional conditions for all kinds of port operations to be carried out, while still on the main entry routes for international shipping lines into central Europe.
