Western Commercial Dock

It has been executed the works for the creation of this new wharf that possess 283 meters in length and 15 meters deep. This infrastructure gives a good response to the bulk traffic and it is the most representative in terms of volume at the Port of Marín.

Port of Marin Inner Rail Network Extension

The scope of the project was to execute the necessary steps for the extension of the Port of Marin Inner Rail Network. The railway network inside the Port of Marin¿s operating area needs to have its rail-port operational capacity increased.

Outfitting of the Western Commercial Wharf Esplanade

This work involved paving the esplanade created by the construction of the Western Pier to enable port operations, including the laying of utility services for the Esplanade: electric conduits for future lighting, water supply system for the installation of fire hydrants and storm drainage system.

Elongation of the Southern Commercial Pier

This project involved extending the current Southern Commercial pier, mainly used for fruit goods, westwards over an approximate length of 70 metres and to a draught of 11 meters, and joining it to the Western Commercial pier, which will be extended about 30 metres southwards and to a draught of 15 metres.

New approaches to the Sw zone of the service area

This work involved the installation of permanent fencing to replace the temporary Port perimeter and re-arranging service roads that connect the SW entry to the Port by building a roundabout and a new access control gate.
